Would you like to help lead a Small Group at PHAT Camp?
PHAT Camps couldn't run were it not for the help of the army of volunteers who give up their time every summer to make these events awesome.
PHAT Camps bring together some of the best that the British-Chinese church has to offer in service through preaching, worship, art, and training. But the one thing that matters perhaps more than anything else we do is the community and relationships that are built up through these gatherings. And Small Group Leaders form both the foundations and pillars of that work.
Behind all of the things we do to welcome young people to PHAT Camps is the awareness that we want them to encounter Jesus. And, for many, that encounter may come in the form of someone willing to listen or walk-alongside them in their struggles and questions, or celebrate with them as they find new life and victory in Christ. This year is no different, and we’d love for you to be part of our team as we carry on the work of planting spiritual seeds in young hearts, and then watch them grow as God moves in their lives.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Applicants will need to go through a recruitment process to gauge their suitability to serve at PHAT Camp. All applicants who are accepted onto the team are required to do a DBS check, attend a 2-hr online training and a 2-day training camp at Whitemoor Lakes (same location as PHAT Camp). Dates are listed in the boxes above.
Each leader pays a discounted camp fee of £280 to attend both the training camp and PHAT Camp. Sibling discounts do not apply.
Application Deadline - 15th June
We recognise this is a bigger jump in fees than in past years. This is due to the increased venue charges. But we pray that finance does not become an obstacle. We want to encourage all who apply to see this as a volunteer opportunity to serve God and His people (almost like a local mission trip). So, if accepted, we encourage you to consider fundraising financial and prayer support from fellow Christian brothers and sisters.
